The Plan Award 2015 – Officine Garibaldi

The "Officine Garibaldi" project in via Gioberti in Pisa has been selected and published by the international architecture magazine THE PLAN, as a finalist for the THE PLAN AWARD 2015 award. The free floor, realized through the Warren beams structure, the high energy efficiency and innovative technological solutions have been the cornerstones of a project in which there is the maximum synergy between architecture and engineering. German Design Award 2018

20 ottobre 2017, Il progetto della Dogana d'Acqua vince il German Design Award 2018 per la categoria "Excellent Communications Design > Architecture".   [qodef_blockquote text="Un nuovo modo di esprimere il concetto di edificio storico. E’ stato possibile ricostruire l’edificio originale solamente riproducendo, con differenti materiali, la forma originale e le sue dimensioni nella medesima posizione precedente alla sua demolizione: non un falso storico ma un ripristino contemporaneo. Questo rinnovato edificio è dotato di un involucro trasparente che graficamente e sobriamente echeggia la facciata dell’edificio storico, per mezzo del quale il ricordo di quel che l’edificio una volta appariva è stato conservato. The Officine Garibaldi among the 15 finalists of the call “Culturability 2018”

The project of the Officine Garibaldi, in via Gioberti in Pisa was selected among the 15 finalists of the 2018 Culturability announcement promoted by the Unipolis Foundation. The selection took place among the 341 projects from all over Italy to support innovative cultural and creative initiatives with a high social impact that regenerate and reactivate spaces, buildings, former industrial sites, abandoned or underutilized. Culture, innovation and social cohesion, collaboration, sustainability, youth employment: these are the ingredients requested to fill these gaps with creativity and return them to the reference territorial communities.
